I am proud to have been affiliated with the PVC for much of that time, not only as a performer but also as a videographer and a keeper/promoter of musical history. This season has been ripe with talent and memorable performances. I would like to share with you what has transpired during the month of April. We’ll start with April 6th and the performances by Anne Price and Steve Suffet. Both are longtime friends of the PVC and have been featured on many occasions. Their appearance during April was particularly memorable. I created four Songs Of Freedom episodes from that event.

First of all I want to say wonderful blog!
I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you do not mind.
I was interested to know how you center yourself and
clear your head prior to writing. I have had a
tough time clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out.
I truly do enjoy writing however it just seems like
the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally wasted just trying to figure out
how to begin. Any suggestions or tips? Kudos!
It might help you if you close your eyes in a quiet space and meditate about what you really want to say. Write down three bullet points about what you want to include. That might lead to more bullet points and ideas. Don’t lose them! And if they should disappear before you can write them down that is ok. They will return. You may find your finished work gets you to what you really want to say, yet these beginnings are not it. It is a mysterious and beautiful process.
