"New York City Friends of Clearwater Water Festival 2017, episode 1


The New York City Friends of Clearwater hosted its 2017 Water Festival on Sunday, August 27 of that year. It was a day of education, music, and entertainment about environmental awareness and action.  

Songs of Freedom Television was there to record what happened that day. This episode features the president and vice president of the organization describing its mission and history. Brett Kavanaugh, Donald Trump, and others.

The music and spirit of Woody  Guthrie lives on at this annual event in Brooklyn. 


The 2018 Woody hoot crew included Steve Suffet, Vincent Cross, Emma Graves, Amy  Dee, Nancy Moccaldi, and Joel Landy. 


The show at the Old Stone House in Brooklyn was produced by The Good Coffee  House and Steve Suffet and cosponsored by the Folk Music Society of New York,  Inc. Songs of Freedom Television recorded the show. 


This is the first of four half  hour episodes. It features the talents of Vincent Cross (Pastures of Plenty),  Emma Graves (Bury Me Beneath the Willow), Joel Landy (You Fascists Bound to  Lose), Nancy Moccaldi (Step Stone), Steve Suffet (Worried Man Blues), Vincent  Cross (I Ain't Got No Home), and the Ensemble (Blowing Down that Old Dusty Road,  This Land Is Your Land).

The 2018 Woody hoot was a memorable event.
The cast of performers included Steve Suffet, Vincent Cross, Emma Graves, Amy  Dee, Nancy Moccaldi, and Joel Landy.
